I got too many ppl on this lj =.= So i'm doing the usual friends cut.

Friends cut doesn't mean i don't like you.

This lj is specifically fandom only and all entries are public. Most of you, I'm moving to blackjackie999 so we can still read lj entries etc etc, but mainly, I'm only keeping ljs that talk about hitman reborn or other anime on this lj. Pfffffff I'm sorry for all Bakuman Yaoi fans XD The authors just denied you~~~

I LOVE this scene XD it's like the author's talking about themselves since Shujin and Saiko are 'normal kids' and this manga is about them being normal ahahahaha

I think it's interesting to see Obata do comic gag panels. They're more stable and longer and stretched out, compared to suspense/battle panels~ I still think he's best as suspense/battle panel type~ but it's interesting to see him experiment? in a way. It's so old fashioned and classic paneling (like how shujin's jokes are considered classic? XD )

Hitman Reborn In BAKUMAN? More likely than you'd think!

Reading from the description, you wouln't think it's Hitman Reborn at all... it's just got ten Hitmans fighting each other.

- Then they name it 'Hitman 10'. Remember Tsuna's the 10th Boss of Vongola ? (well, candidate) More and more it becomes slightly similar. The tournament type battle is also a bit Hitman Reborn and of course, the fact is, this is a GAG manga, which is what Hitman Reborn started off as. It's a "ridiculous" setting and a "young man gets dragged into it", basically, he didn't want to at first? Note that the main character is somewhat fair hair/blond? colored young man holding a pistol.

- This one killed me while reading it lol. One of the main editor is saying that this doesn't have to be a gag, in fact, it can be fine as a straight battle manga (just like what Hitman Reborn became later) I couldn't help laughing hard when he said "the gag kills the tension"
Pff... something i think many of us felt sometimes during the earlier arc of Hitman Reborn.

- Here's a quick "NAME" or rough draft of how "Hitman 10" looks like. You can see the main character flailing about in the background as he's being attacked.

- They also talk about how "Hitman 10" setting is much easier to expand upon... and boy, we all know that Hitman Reborn's setting is totally expanded to the point of no return... ~~(so many characters D: D: amano~ please learn to focus ;_; )~~ cough >.>; ignore my opinions please.

- Also note that the chibi pic reference of "Hitman 10" is now the blonde boy holding a pistol, much like Reborn and Tsuna put together (yes I'm stretching it a bit but...)

- Cover art for "Hitman 10" The main character looks pretty 'dame' or useless type. Again, fair-haired. And again, holding a pistol which Reborn is well known for using. In the back is a woman (I'd like to say Bianchi but yes, that's pushing it waaay too far so i won't)

- THE BIGGEST OUCHIE if you think "Hitman 10" is anything like "Hitman Reborn." The editor is saying, you can cover up your 'flaws' by making it more fantasy and surreal and extreeeeeeeeeme. .... .... >.>;;;; Amano's gags at first were pretty over the top. 10 years later bazooka, a baby hitman, explosions everywhere, teenager bomber hitmen.... It all sounds pretty unbelievable and silly. So making it more silly will cover up realism mistakes? Ouchies, burn~

- If everything up to now meant nothing, if anything HERE is where "Hitman Reborn" is mentioned directly in comparison to "Hitman 10." It talks about how they can use data from other comedy/battle manga such as "Hitman Reborn" and make "Hitman 10" a manga that can switch back and forth from comedy to battle, depending on the reader's responses. (In fact, Reborn! is the first thing he mentions aside from Kinnikuman, which he's dismissing as gag manga)

- The clincher that made me laugh~ The editor's like "Why do we have to kill?" OTL OTL OTL!!!! XD While the author is like "WTF?! Then what about the PLOT?!!!!" XD Cough.... That's SO Shonen Jump editor for you.... since it's Jump policy not to kill too many characters (since Jump is for younger readers) while the author's like "BUT! o.o;;;"

Anyways, hopefully this was somewhat insightful and amusing :P

Randomly:
Kazuya Hiramaru and Otters are considered parody of Hideki Sorachi and Gintama. Sorachi is well known for being a lazy bum who doesn't want to do more work than necessary just like Hiramaru while Otters doesn't have an amazing art, it's gag gets the story going, keeping him up in the top lists. Even though the gags are sometimes old, it feels mature at the same time... which is again similar to Gintama.

No Seriously, WHO IS THIS?!!!! As MUCH as I love Hibari and as much as pretty he is... It doesn't feel like Amano's style anymore. It feels more like... doujinshi??? Though I admit, Hibari's face changes so freaking much for someone who's suppose to have a monotone face.... >.> (Like how TYL hibari's face + hair keeps slightly changing time to time. it's like Amano haven't quite figured out Hibari yet or something)

You can call me silly~ but when i read something like Oofuri or Monster, or watching things like Gurren Lagann, I always go "Whoa... I wanna write a manga like that!" and get all teary and sparkled eyed ~

I would love to write a manga like that, something inspiration and motivational. Something that fills your lonely heart with overflowing love. Something so powerful and totally encompassing that it leaves you speechless with indescribable feelings.

That's the kind of feelings I enjoy.

- Translating. Main reason why I am barely online.
- So far, over 13 people were killed in our metro system, within the past 2 months. Nine deaths in the metro rail accident with two trains colliding on the red line, then an employee accidentally got hit few weeks after that (i think green/yellow line?). This sunday, someone committed suicide on the red line, right on the station that i get off to switch to the yellow line for work/school. Then yesterday, some high school kids were playing 'chicken' with the trains and got hit and died :I on the yellow line. Basically, people are dying left and right on the metro lines I use to go to work and home >.<;;; DELAYS everywhere. sigh... like several hours of delays. Though if it was an accident, I'm like D: but that high school kid playing games like that made me angry >:C
- I'm painting my house every night and every weekend practically >.<;;; We started my room 2 days ago though. Almost done OTL...

oh gawd~<3 not only are they hot (which actually made me very dubious. I don't like hot male guys in my shows. makes me think that all their budget will go to the actors and the story will be lacking) BUT THE RETRO STYLE!!! oh shit~ I love how the colors are so vibrant, and the fight scenes and scenes in general is so OLD SCHOOL!! XD it's super cute! Reminds me of Cutey Honey style!

Rarely I praise Hetalia lol... but this has got to be one of the best Hetalia skit out there.

Most american skits are comedy, especially Hetalia ones. While most asian skits are angst LOL...

Chinese Convention Skit. The fight scenes, and dances are accurate! It's truely nice to see Italia be bad ass and fight, and accurately portray the betray of Japan and going to Western countries and then to Axis power. I also love how Asia/China were screwed over... American and Western history tends to gloss over that part while Asians tend to focus on it it seems lol

One more recommendation from kasugai_gummie~<3 I can see why she said that she thinks that this video inspired the skit above. They are very similar including the music~
