So this morning I woke up to 3 emails of note. 2 of them were tousen noticed for tickets to OrePara. Was quite surprised since they came pretty late. Since Ayli (xaevyn) also got tousen'd for all her moushikomi's though, mine aren't needed. .^^;; (And again, sorryyyyyyyyyyyyyy~~~ ._.) But hestia217 is going to take 3 of them off my hands (if her friends didn't get tousen'd too) so I guess I have 3 more.

Third email of note was a reply back from one of the companies I applied for via GaijinPot yesterday! They said they were interested in speaking with me via Skype and asked me a couple questions, and told me to send in my resume and a photo. I just finished replying to them. *crosses fingers* Just realized that on my resume Word doc the author is tagged "GokuMew2." .>_>;;; Oops! I hope they don't notice that.

Anyway, this is the job I applied for. Tokyooooooo~~~~!!! Wish me luck, everyone! And I really do wonder if they contact everyone they receive an app from or do they select who to contact... Wanna know if them contacting me means I passed some kind of initial screening. In any case, looks like a really good job so I hope I get it!

1) ...I probably have some idea abut what the answer is already but what's your favorite Final Fantasy and why?

It's actually a three way tie between Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Final Fantasy VI. Tactics for its equally complex and rewarding gameplay and plot, IX for its characters and music, VI for music, female protagonists, Kefka, and general glitchiness (even if it was fixed for the U.S. the Drill hat glitch is the best thing ever).

2) Any favorite video games that aren't from Japanese developers?

Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire, and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. My love for Bioware puts me at odds with my loathing of Electronic Arts, as they are publishing their Mass Effect and Dragon Age titles :(

3) Favorite music?

At the moment my musical tastes have mellowed out a lot, but I have long been a fan of Bad Religion, Weezer, and Stone Temple Pilots. Lately I've been listening to a lot of Loreena McKinnit, Emilie Autumn, and Phoenix. Honestly you can get me to listen to any genre, though.

4) Ignoring Dagger, who would Zidane like to date in camp?

5) If you had a million dollars, what would you do?

Pay off my college loans, buy a car, and getting some dental work done. Hopefully the rest would pay for car insurance and upkeep while I continue to look for a job. I HAVE EXCITING ASPIRATIONS AND GOALS.

PS: The Redunancy Office for Redunancy on All Things Redundant would like to remind Mr. Lattanzio that the overlap between "Membership" and "Attendees" should technically be complete. Since if I remember correctly, attendance gave you membership into the SPJA anyway. Attendees & Staff would be a nicer split. -_-

I was wearing this at Disneyland.

And this is the story of why I was wearing it.

On Friday, I went to Disneyland with sana_chan, richiied, rebel__princess, and scruffyrebel. sana_chan and richiied weren't just going for your typical fun day at the amusement park. They were going with a PLAN.

Mission: SHOWBOAT

The Princess and the Frog is the latest animated Disney movie, which will be coming out on December 11. The movie will feature Tiana, Disney's first African American princess, and Naveen, Disney's first Maldonian prince. (Tiana will also be the first "Disney Princess" from the USA!) The story takes place in New Orleans, which just happens to be one of the districts of Disneyland.

Having been to Walt Disney World in Orlando, the girls knew that the park would be promoting the new movie quite heavily. The main elements of the promotion were (1) having Tiana and Naveen in the park where people could meet them, and (2) Tiana's Showboat Jubilee, a little musical show performed on the Mark Twain Riverboat. Tiana's Showboat Jubilee told a short story of Tiana and Naveen and their friend Louis, the jazz-playing alligator, with several songs and a little dancing. More importantly, each performance of the show would include 20 randomly-selected visitors.

sana_chan and richiied decided that they wouldn't be satisfied simply to SEE Tiana's Showboat Jubilee. They had to be IN the show. Not only that, they wanted to be in the FIRST EVER performance of the show at Disneyland. That's why we were at the park on Friday, the first day the Tiana's Showboat Jubilee would be seen at Disneyland.

The plan began with a visit to City Hall in Main Street, USA (on the left, near the fire engine), where we loaded up on the free buttons which announced that "We're Celebrating!" The hope was that, by having buttons, the people who "randomly selected" people would be more inclined to select us.

Then we headed over to New Orleans Square to meet up with bri_chan, who was already in line to meet Tiana and Naveen.

In case it wasn't immediately obvious from our attire, scruffyrebel and I came to the park with a second mission in mind: take Indiana Jones pictures!

I am feeling extremely guilty for posting this late, but better than never, right? D:
On Wednesday (November 11), we had our first year anniversary. ♥
It's kinda funny that I'm so overwhelmed by it that -- the more I try to fuss about it, the more I end up giving up and just wanting to keep things low profile. Perhaps it's the fear of possibly letting my mom know too much and then repeating all that drama we had from some months ago... really don't want that. Not when we've come so far and made so, so much progress with the relationship. It's already been a year, babyyyyy ♥ Can you believe it? :')

We had originally planned to go take purikura that day, but I looked horrible (I know, what a failure I really am for screwing up on such an important day) so we ended up not doing that. And surprisingly, we didn't do anything too fancy or extravagant and just kept things at a very simple level; I think it's the first time in years that I've appreciated something so much, despite it being just a very, very ordinary day.

Haaaah, I feel like the happiest person on earth right now.




But not exactly because I am so broke and so broke and so broke
